O.Z. Tyler Kentucky Bourbon

Yes, it's young, and yes, it tastes young, but it's also remarkably smooth. Youth doesn't automatically equate to poor quality. You get a lot of the raw sweet corn flavor, offering a profile distinct from most bourbons. It reminds me of visiting distilleries and trying all the 'white whiskey' they offered. Furthermore, it's a very economical choice! They acknowledge its youthfulness during visits, but their unique process allows for such a smooth young whiskey. You need to anticipate that flavor profile to fully enjoy and appreciate it.

Nose: Immature. Malt, grass, cinnamon. Palate: White pepper, tobacco, lemon. It's only been aged for 1 year and 1 day, but it underwent a new TerrePure filtering process. It almost has more Speyside Scotch characteristics than Bourbon, but it's potent and a bit sharp at 90 proof.
