This straight bourbon, introduced in January 2022, was matured in the company's unique floating warehouse situated on the Mississippi River in Ballard County, Kentucky. It is a sourced, no-age statement wheated bourbon offered at 105 proof.

NOSE Oak, dried fruit, baking spice, birthday cake and candle wax, nuts, and a subtle candy sweetness. A pleasant, inviting aroma with a surprising, yet not unwelcome, level of sweetness. PALATE Oak, caramel, dried dark fruit, leather, graham cracker, baking spice, and a hint of menthol. A darker, deeper, more rustic palate that offers a nice warmth. FINISH Medium-long: Caramel, oak, and spice give way to cocoa and spice.

Tasted at north star. This is the oshkosh private barrel selection. It's hot in the mouth, but the flavor isn't very pleasant. I wouldn't try it again.
