About this bottle

This bourbon is named in honor of the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark now recognized as Buffalo Trace Distillery. Distilled in 1994, this Kentucky straight bourbon spent 25 years aging before its bottling in 2019. Consistent with prior releases, this bourbon comes in a wooden display box with a provenance card. The wooden box encases a crystal bottle featuring real copper lettering inlaid into the glass, along with a hand-applied paper label. O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon 1994 became available in limited quantities starting in November 2019.

Smells like: Caramel, Strawberries, Lavender, Peppermint, Leather, Tobacco, Cherries, Oranges, Milk Chocolate, Maple Syrup, Raspberries, Nutmeg, Baking Spices, Cloves, Licorice, Spearmint, Coffee Taste is: Pepper, Milk Chocolate, Pecans, Leather, Butterscotch, Cherries, Maple Syrup, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Oranges, Tobacco, Coffee, Brown Butter Cake, Bananas, Burnt Brown Sugar Leaves a taste of: Chocolate, Coffee, Mocha, Butterscotch, Cherries, Almonds, Leather, Tobacco, Baking Spices, Oak, Red Apples, Maple Syrup, Nutmeg, Cinnamon

The only other review accurately listed every single flavor I've ever tasted. Intense cherries persist throughout. It's amazing, particularly for a 25-year-old, and not over-oaked in my opinion. I wish it had a slightly higher proof, but it's excellent if you ever have the chance.
