About this bottle

This bourbon is named in honor of the O.F.C. Distillery, now known as Buffalo Trace Distillery, a National Historic Landmark. The Kentucky straight bourbon was distilled in 1993 and underwent 25 years of aging before its bottling in 2018. This release is presented in a wooden display case, which includes a provenance card. Within the case is a crystal bottle featuring inlaid copper lettering and a hand-applied paper label. The O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon 1993 became available in limited quantities starting in December 2018.

Ashly Mcneal

Incredible oak. Cedar. Burnt sugar. Anise. Tannic, though this might be from previous pours. Cherries on the nose. And brown caramelized sugars. Strawberry notes on the nose as well. Light to medium body. So good it makes me frown. Coffee finish? Milk chocolate. This is happening live, folks. Orange peel. The mouthfeel has a brief chewiness followed by... I lack the words. My wife loves me enough to cover the cost of a pour. Smells of light cinnamon, bright with red berries. Really stretching this out for you guys. Tannic but delicious. Last sip! Ready? Perfumed strawberry aroma. Shortbread cookie scent. Sip of water. Vanilla frosting smell. Orange zest. The taste has a good amount of orange and cocoa dust. That dust causes dryness. Do you live to live?
