Proof 116.8 Batch - Pure1 Aroma - nutty, white chocolate, root beer, cherry, dark fruits. Taste - Ash/smoke emerges upfront and persists into the finish, the smoke reappears. Mid-palate, I'm experiencing a root beer float, cherries, and a subtle almond nuance. Medium to long finish. Coats the palate well. Overall - this one is somewhat puzzling. On certain sips... the smoke dominates. On others, I get a lot of those mid-palate characteristics, and it's quite pleasant.

About this bottle
PCS Distilling in Kentucky produces this small batch bourbon. The 4- to 6-year-old bourbon barrels are sourced from MGP, an Indiana-based company, and then finished in toasted barrels for one to four weeks. The barrels are combined into small batches before bottling. Each bottle is sealed with copper wax and displays the proof and batch number on the front label, and the bourbon is bottled without chill-filtration.
