New World Distillery Ogden Nine Rails

This spirit greets you with pure vanilla and butterscotch on the nose. The initial taste delivers oats, followed by a grassy rye note that holds its own even in an Old Fashioned cocktail. I rate it a five, not because it's a perfect example of bourbon, but for its uniqueness while still providing the expected upfront bourbon flavor and ingeniously bridging the rye gap. A GREAT WHISKEY!
