The New Riff High Note Bohemian Wheat 8 year is an absolutely outstanding drink. I have sampled about two dozen New Riff products, primarily single barrel bourbon selections, and this is, without question, the finest New Riff product I have ever had. In addition to the flavors I've noted, the tasting descriptions on the packaging are quite accurate.

About this bottle
At the close of 2023, New Riff launched two eight-year-old whiskeys within its High Note limited edition series, representing the distillery's oldest offerings to date. The Bohemian Wheat Bourbon takes cues from a Dunkelweizen-style beer and is composed of 65% corn, 18% floor-malted wheat, 10% unmalted wheat, and 7% dark wheat. Marketed as a "high wheat" bourbon, it is an unusual two-grain bourbon that combines corn and wheat. This non-chill filtered bourbon is bottled at a cask strength of 117.9 proof.
