Nelson Brothers Sherry Cask Finish involves selecting barrels of straight bourbon whiskey and finishing them in oloroso casks. Introduced in 2022, this Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon reappeared in 2025 at a slightly elevated proof of 101.5 compared to its predecessor. It can be purchased at the distillery and in select retail locations.

This is completely different from their previous Belle Meade label. It features stewed cherries, grassy rye, nutty barley, red plums, dark raisins, vanilla beans, bitter lemon peel, Chinese cinnamon, burnt sugar, gala apple, young but not immature wood tannins, cloves, charcoal smokiness, and cocoa butter. It's decent but doesn't reach the quality of the Belle Meade Sherry Cask.
Nose: Dried fruits (cherries), vanilla, cinnamon, and sherry wine. Taste: Vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, crème brûlée, citrus, rye spice, dried fruit, sweet, and toasty. Finish: A long, warming finish with notes of black tea and a subtle lingering cherry.
