Nelson Bros. Reserve

Nose: Oak, light apple, baking spices Palate: A quick burst of sweet vanilla that shifts to cinnamon, fruit, and a subtle hint of cocoa Finish: Short to medium with lingering spice and sweetness Compared to the Nelson Bros Classic, the Reserve offers a more robust experience for Bourbon enthusiasts. However, the true comparison for me is how this stacks up against Belle Meade Reserve, the previous version in the Green Brier Portfolio. In my opinion, this one is much closer to the Belle Meade Reserve than the Nelson Bros. Classic is to the Belle Meade.

Overall, I would say it's very smooth, not bitter at all; if you like sweet, this is definitely for you. I made this as an old-fashioned and didn't drink it neat. I could definitely drink more than one of these, and it would certainly be a good addition to the regular rotation.
