Norman Song 3.0

Nose: Wood, leather, pepper Palate: Caramel, vanilla, quickly shifts to baking spices and pepper Finish: Brief, with baking spices lingering This new core offering from Green Brier Distillery is named "Classic" and it fits. It's a traditional bourbon profile that's very accessible. Compared to the earlier Belle Meade, this pour emphasizes spice and wood over sweetness. There's a fleeting hint of bourbon sweetness at the beginning, but this pour has a bit more body and intensity.

Phoenix Billingsley 3.3

Priced at $32.49, with tax $34.28. Composed of 64% corn, 30% rye, and 6% malted barley. Proof is 93.3. Flavors include charred oak, cinnamon, pepper, corn, butter, apple, vanilla, caramel, and lemon.

Benjamin Bragg 3.8

A sweet caramel beginning with a rye finish. The taste doesn't last very long. Not bad for the price.

Minerva Byrne 3.0

A rather standard sipping whiskey. Decent for the price.
