DRINKING NEAT NOSE - Rich, indulgent caramel, oak, citrus, and cinnamon. PALATE - The texture is slightly thick. The oak flavor is primary but not harsh or bitter. The oak is complemented by rich caramel and orange. FINISH - The finish is quite long. The oak remains dominant, but the caramel and citrus give way to a cinnamon spice. SHOULD YOU BUY? Absolutely, for $60-$70. I started with their smaller batch selections due to price, but I might get a single barrel eventually. WOULD YOU BUY AGAIN? It's not exceptional, but it's a solid bourbon for its price, especially considering it's sourced and cask strength. I would repurchase it.
