I chuckled when I noticed the creamed corn note, but it's accurate. Creamed corn and alcohol. It's thin with no significant finish. I'm not sure how to describe it. I don't dislike it, but I feel the packaging doesn't align with the contents. The presentation is beautiful, small, and boutique-like. However, inside is a low-proof product aged for two years. It's not bad at all considering what it is. It's not outstanding for what it's presented as. I'd be interested to see what it would be like with more aging time.

About this bottle
Monte Sachs, the founder and distiller at Catskills Distilling Co., developed an interest in distilling while pursuing veterinary studies in Italy, where he learned grappa production from a local farmer. Mr. Lincoln Henderson, formerly of Brown-Forman and the creator of Woodford Reserve and Gentleman Jack, provided guidance on accelerating the whiskey aging process. This bourbon, aged for two years, is offered in 375 ml bottles.

Like all bourbons from New York distilleries that I've tried so far, it lacks depth and, in my opinion, tastes very young and is far too expensive. There's a strong alcohol smell at first on the nose that covers up all other scents. It tastes like diluted corn syrup. It has a long burn and a limited flavor range. It might be better after aging for a few more years.
I'm getting the typical flavors of inexpensive bourbon from this. Cotton candy and bubble gum. This whiskey is young and intense. The price doesn't match the quality. This should be an $8-13 bottle, not the $28 they're asking.
Reminded me of Jack Daniels upon first smell and taste. Clearly detect caramel and a leathery aroma. Quite enjoyable.
The flavor profile seems very young, with strong alcohol on the nose. Best suited for a cocktail. Sampled at a friend's place.
Drinking this with a friend, enjoying the nice sweet taste. There's a little bit of cereal flavor, but overall it has the right balance of heat and sweetness.
