The nose is light and fruity with a hint of oak. The palate has sweet citrus fruit and char, the char being subtle. I'm a fan of sherry-finished scotches, so this appeals to me. There's a lot happening in this blend, which makes it remarkable. You can't beat the price.

Took a chance on this selection, and the reward was quite high. I'm a big admirer of Speyside Whisky and sherry finishes, so this was ideal.
Sampled a dram in the Lufthansa Senator lounge. Nice and strong.
Not as complex as some, but a little sweet with a touch of brine.
Cherry, vanilla, and oak notes with good harmony in a less intense spirit.
Intense, potent, spicy, with dried fruit notes.
