About this bottle

This bottling features a blend of single malts originating from the Speyside region, which were aged entirely in traditional oak. It then undergoes a second maturation period in Mossburn Cask Bill #2, comprising specially constructed oloroso sherry butts with heavily charred virgin American oak heads. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

Belle Barker 4.0

The nose is light and fruity with a hint of oak. The palate has sweet citrus fruit and char, the char being subtle. I'm a fan of sherry-finished scotches, so this appeals to me. There's a lot happening in this blend, which makes it remarkable. You can't beat the price.

Freddy Guo 4.3

Took a chance on this selection, and the reward was quite high. I'm a big admirer of Speyside Whisky and sherry finishes, so this was ideal.

Jana Travis 4.0

Sampled a dram in the Lufthansa Senator lounge. Nice and strong.

Emanuel Fortune 3.5

Not as complex as some, but a little sweet with a touch of brine.

Eduardo Rudd 3.8

Cherry, vanilla, and oak notes with good harmony in a less intense spirit.

Marla Rogers 3.5

Intense, potent, spicy, with dried fruit notes.
