About this bottle
Mortlach 30 Year Midnight Malt begins with the distillery's distinctive process of distilling 2.81 times. Initial maturation occurs in refill American and European oak barrels, after which the whisky is divided and finished in casks seasoned with Bordeaux wine, Calvados, and Guatemalan rum. The whiskies are then combined into custom quarter casks, with a total aging period of at least thirty years. For 2022, this Diageo Rare & Exceptional release is limited to 350 bottles, with a suggested retail price of $4,999.99.
