An intense 10-year-old single malt from Mortlach, the 'Beast of Dufftown', bottled by Douglas Laing as part of their Provenance range. It was aged in a hogshead from June 2006 to February 2017, with 389 bottles produced. The aroma features notes of caramelized banana, sugared peels, and white oak warmth. The palate is rich with chocolate praline, zesty orange peel, and turmeric. The finish is long, with notes of spiced currant buns with butter and marmalade. February 2016 / September 2022
