Moonrise Distillery Single Barrel Bourbon (Artisan Small Batch)

Traditional aroma. This resembles the standard expression but aged and with a higher proof. It is considerably superior, however. I find the taste a bit immature and lacking the complexity to be truly impressive. It appeals to me due to its traditional characteristics and higher proof compared to the standard, and it is good—just not the ultimate bottle.

Nose: honey, oak, spice, and vanilla. Palate: oak, caramel, spice, and honey. Very classic bourbon flavors, but it's surprisingly enjoyable. There's a distinct leather note on the back end that I find very appealing.
