Miltonduff 10 Discovery

The work done by Gordon & MacPhail on this Miltonduff is truly remarkable. I appreciate the harmony between the fruitiness and maturity; the flavors meld wonderfully. While it's pleasant and light, it doesn't lack intensity or character. A friend from Ireland remarked that it closely resembles triple-distilled Irish whiskies, despite being a proper Speyside scotch.

An excellent spirit for its mid-range cost. It possesses a subtle flavor profile and a pleasant aroma. The taste is both fruity and refined. I'd definitely suggest this if you're looking for something unique and prefer to avoid an overpowering alcohol presence.

Smells like vanilla, citrus, fruitcake, raisins, and sugar! Tastes of sugar, sweetness, and chocolate. The finish has sugar, orange, and chocolate.

The distinct character of the original Miltonduff is greatly diminished, replaced by honey and floral notes.

Forgettable, with a nutty flavor.
