Maeve Norton 1.8

Taste: Initially a bit watery, it develops into a fairly rich mouthfeel with light chocolate, some raisin, dusty young unprocessed grains, and a mild spice reminiscent of rye whisky. Finish: Lingering sweet raisins, a touch of harsh ethanol, and a return of the young, dusty grain. Score: 50/100 Final Thoughts: This whisky, lacking an age statement, presents as very young. Interestingly, with some air, the raw young ethanol gradually dissipates but remains on the palate. The sherry influence is present but somewhat muted, with hints of chocolate and raisin. Unfortunately, it's overshadowed by a young, raw dusty grain character and ethanol taste, as if some of the distillation heads and tails were included. Aline Greenfield 3.0

The color is quite light for a sherry-matured whisky. Raisin notes are prominent on the nose, palate, and finish. There are subtle hints of oak, nuts, and chocolate. The palate is spicy throughout and lingers on the finish. It also feels quite sharp with a noticeable alcohol burn, suggesting it might be fairly young.

Cherry Diaz 3.0

Slightly smoky, but still enjoyable.

Nona Carrera 3.8
