Millstone 4 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

Nose: Fruitcake, brown sugar, subtle chocolate, and wood oil. Palate: Smooth texture. Malty, with dried orange zest, and pronounced nutmeg spice. Finish: A warm finish. Lingering flavors of candied orange and some chocolate. Once the initial heat dissipates, it reveals itself as a pleasant fruit-forward spirit. A small amount of water eliminates the heat, bringing out the chocolate and malt notes.

Nose: Dried fruit, furniture polish Palate: Orange peel, baking spices, dried fruits Finish: Quite brief and intense Tastes immature. Would benefit from a few more years in the barrel. 5.5/10
