About this bottle
This 46-year-old single pot still Irish whiskey was distilled in 1973. Initially placed in sherry and bourbon casks for over two decades, it was then married and transferred to refill bourbon casks for an unspecified duration. The whiskey underwent a further re-casking into newly arrived port pipes, where it rested for an unknown period. It spent its final years, from 2013 to 2020, in a refill bourbon cask. The release is planned for May, 2021.
