About this bottle

Midleton Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is part of Midleton's Virgin Irish Oak Collection. The whiskey blend for this bottling comprises different styles of pot still whiskey: light, medium, and heavy. After an initial aging in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, the whiskey undergoes a finishing process in virgin Irish oak hogsheads sourced from Kilranelagh Wood in Co. Wicklow. Six specific oak trees were selected, with the whiskey from each bottled individually by tree number. The cask strength bottling for each tree ranges from 56.8% to 57.5% ABV. It is expected in November 2023. (SRP $490)
