Midleton Academy Single Pot Still edition 1

The Midleton Academy Bottle is an Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey exclusively bottled by Midleton for the Irish Whiskey Academy. It spends time in four American ex-bourbon barrels (two first-fill and two second-fill) and also in an ex-sherry cask. This is a non-age statement whiskey. I am fortunate to possess both the first and second editions of this whiskey. (This review is based on published assessments.)

Exceptional and smooth. No harshness or burn at the end. The flavor remained on the tongue for a considerable time.
