Very smooth, with a touch of sweetness, caramel, and vanilla. An extremely smooth finish. I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this whiskey. I'm not sure it justifies the $75 price, but I would certainly buy another bottle if it were priced lower, perhaps around $45-50.
Tasted neat: I anticipated the usual young ethanol sting but was pleasantly surprised. The nose is very sweet and fruity. An easy-drinking spirit, smooth and light in proof. Despite the substantial price, it's a quality beverage.
Sweet and toasted caramel and vanilla, with oak presence. A hint of spice. A very good bourbon.
