I'm a man who enjoys whisky and sometimes rum/vodka, as long as it's bitter. So when I tried this, having the pre-judgment that Martini is sweet, I thought I would hate it. And sipping it, it really starts with a fruity sweet kick, but the finish...the bitterness is something else, it elevates the drink. If you add tonic water, ice, and some lemon slices (not zests), you have yourself the perfect river/beach drink, without having too much alcohol. Give it a try.

The nose is abundant with citrus scents, alongside juicy fruits and herbal notes. It tastes sweet initially, with a wonderfully bitter finish. I enjoy mixing this 50/50 with tonic water and an orange slice over ice, as suggested. It's refreshing, light, flavorful, and a very pleasant aperitif.
I'm just starting with aperitifs and I really enjoy this. It's juicy, a little bitter, herbal, and bright. It's approachable and intriguing. Works well with tonic over ice. It's comparable to Aperol but deeper and more complex.
It's simultaneously quite sweet and quite bitter. I detect orange peels, but they are very juicy as well. There's an herbal aftertaste, and it might pair well with lamb. It also brings cloves to mind.
Very enjoyable served over a lot of ice.
