Nose: Charred wood smell. Corn, citrus peel, burnt sugar, sweet spice, vanilla, crisp apples. Overripe banana. Palate: Oak is dominant. Berry, pronounced corn. Smooth banana. Substantial apple. This was unexpected. It strongly brings to mind Evan Williams or Dickel. The purpose of this seems to be profiting from craft distilleries. There are numerous options at this price point, or even less expensive, that are also satisfying, such as Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond or Jim Beam Bottled-in-Bond.

Initially, it presented as a very pleasant sweet bourbon, but this quickly shifted to a peculiar, bitter, and harsh taste that I haven't encountered before or since. This bottle is only suitable for your worst adversary or for disposal.
Smoother than I expected. No dominant flavors for me. A bit bitter for my liking, but definitely drinkable.
Very smooth and approachable. It tastes a bit diluted, but it's still enjoyable.
Standard basic bourbon, lacking distinct notes.
Sweet, caramel, potent
