The smell is pretty light. Light oak. A bit of spice in the taste. The taste aligns with the smell. Oakey but fresh, light.

About this bottle
Manatawny Still Works initiated its small batch whiskey releases on December 5, 2014, commemorating the anniversary of Prohibition's repeal and the 21st Amendment. While awaiting longer aging for their primary whiskey, the distillery plans to issue experimental small batches. This is their third batch, aged for 226 days in new, thirty-gallon honeycomb barrels. The honeycomb structure increases surface area, accelerating wood sugar extraction and oak influence. The mash bill consists of 80% Munich Malt and 20% Pale Malt.
