A rich wave of vanilla, some molasses notes, green apple, and lemon, followed by more robust elements: lots of leather, some prominent oak and hay, with a rye spice becoming more noticeable towards the finish. It's a decent drink; I'm just unsure if I'd have it again. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but it's certainly not a bad whiskey.
