Maker's Mark Private Selection Milkshake (OHLQ All-Star Collection)

Nose - Intense aromas of vanilla cream, reminiscent of rich, just-baked cupcakes. Palate - Velvety vanilla flavor, with an exceptional, mouthwatering texture. It transitions into warm baking spices with a spicy finish. Finish - Lingering and warm. A good drink, though other private selections from the same brand offer greater depth. It certainly lives up to the "milkshake" moniker, feeling very much like a sweet treat.

Vanilla, oak, and cinnamon spice on the palate, with a sweet, lingering finish. However, it doesn't quite deliver the milkshake experience I expected, which I feel would be sweeter on the finish.... There's a surprising amount of alcohol burn, but it's a decent pour overall. I'm uncertain if it's worth the $70 I paid.

I’m on the fence with this. I do enjoy it quite a bit. The finish gives it a truly distinct taste. The alcohol content is also appealing. However, at the price of $70, superior alternatives exist. I’m pleased to own it, but I will not purchase another.

From Ohio. The nose has oak and vanilla. The palate has toasted oak, soft baking spice, and hints of toffee. It drinks smoother than its 111 proof suggests. A solid bottle, but I don't find it worth the higher price compared to the 46 bottling, which it resembles.

Warming with a slight sting. Largely mellow overall with a prominent vanilla aroma and taste.
