The taste from this batch seems off 2021 Nose carries a touch of ethanol and a faint sweet wood aroma Green oak is prominent initially, followed by spice and mild ethanol caramel. A light young oak lingers in the finish. Rated 4.1/5 2020 Less ethanol on the nose, reduced woodiness replaced by caramel. Rated 4.4/5 Butterscotch/marshmallow notes appear in the mouth, then a light spicy sweetness, possibly caramelized orange. A warm, slightly numbing, tangy, buttery finish. 2019 Nose is a caramel overload. Incredibly rich butterscotch and caramel, with hints of crème brûlée. It's smooth and sweet, but not excessively so. A rich, warm finish with light oak. I could enjoy either the 2019 or the 2020 batch on any given night. Tonight, the 2019 stands out with a more viscous and lingering finish.

This presents the opposite flavor profile compared to the 2019 bottling. It leans heavily into toasty and roasty notes, evoking strong s'mores characteristics on the nose. However, it retains that same pleasant, clean finish.
Taste: It possesses a good amount of vanilla and caramel. It's smoother than the 2019 release in the series, but it lacks depth. Appearance: Deep amber Smell: Vanilla cake
It burns going down straight, but it's much more mellow with a large ice cube. Quite enjoyable.
