Barrel 224/252 Nose: fudge, caramel, cinnamon, ethanol, cocoa, vanilla Palate: creamy, intense caramel, cocoa powder, baking spices, starts very sweet and finishes very dry Finish: medium, mocha, drying oak
The initial taste is sweet, but it transitions to a strong bitterness reminiscent of coffee, which isn't unpleasant. It doesn't linger on the palate.
Chocolate, caramel, light flavor.
