Delia Hutchins 3.5

From Republic Restoratives Distillery in Washington DC, "Madam" is a blend of their 5-Year Purpose Rye and 7-Year Borough Bourbon in equal parts. This combination yields a mashbill composed of 58% Rye, 37% Corn, and 5% Malted Barley. The experience begins with significant sweetness and continues throughout. The aroma carries notes of honey, vanilla, and caramel. The taste is reminiscent of vanilla frosting, leading into a brief to medium finish with additional sugary notes. Despite its technical classification as a rye, this drink behaves more like a bourbon. It's an easy spirit to sip and enjoy casually.

Jamar King 3.5

The flavors are all present at the end. A bit muted initially, but the flavors tend to persist. Each taste is a lengthy experience, not a quick one. Intriguing, but clearly a novelty.
