(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, March 18, 2022). Aroma: Green/grassy, plum, peach, lightly floral Taste: Sweet, honey, wood, spice (white pepper), orchard fruit, nutty wood. Faint traces of char. Aftertaste: Long aftertaste. Oily, orange, wood, baking spice, damp/musty, dry Fino sherry on the lingering taste. 1 of 1237 bottles OB is now The Deveron, owned by Dewars (ultimately owned by Bacardi) 500ml bottle This is a very oily, yet strangely drying dram. It presents numerous slightly sharp layers, but overall is quite acceptable. Ranked tied for last out of the six drams, with 0% of the final vote for favorite of the evening. 67% of those present reported enjoying the whisky.

The aroma doesn't reveal much, but it has an interesting medium body with notes of raisin and umami.
