The aroma is quite distinct, offering a nutty note. It has a very dark color. It's smooth and drinkable neat, but benefits from a little water. My concern is the price; it's the same as Aberlour A'bunadh, which I would prefer over this any day.

Notes of red berries, dried fruit, demerara sugar, oak, and honey. It's pleasant, but could benefit from more substance and has a very brief finish. Lacks sufficient individuality for the cost.
