The Macallan has produced a limited edition bottling to commemorate sixty years of James Bond films, which commenced in October 1962 with the premiere of Dr. No. Throughout the series, six actors have portrayed Bond. For this release, The Macallan has created six distinct labels and boxes, each representing a decade with unique illustrations and colors, alongside film sketches and script excerpts. The whisky itself was selected by Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell, possessing a natural hue of "Suisse gold" – a nod to Bond's mother's Swiss heritage and his father's Scottish roots. It is bottled at 43.7% ABV, referencing Bond's agent number, 007. The 60th Anniversary Release began its limited global rollout in September 2022, with the US receiving its allocation in February 2023. The suggested retail price is $1007.
