Macallan 30 year Fine Oak (2000's bottling)

Tasting before official release. This was sampled years ago on a business trip, paid for by someone else, but I'm documenting the experience here for my records. A robust citrus and apple orchard aroma. Rich flavors of vanilla and nuts with a floral musk. A light, oily finish that fades gradually. Superb.
