A 26-year-old, 10th batch from That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Macallan selection. This is a rich, malty whisky. The nose has initial notes of toffee apples, brandy snaps, a touch of treacle, winter spice, pepper, and cooked fruits. The mid-palate offers notes of pear juice, hints of sweet Normandy cider, allspice, thick, biscuity malt, toasted barley, and vanilla ice cream. The finish is a warming medium length with notes of dried apricot, creamy caramel, a hint of mixed peels, and spice. December 2017 / June 2018 / August 2022
