Nose: Very much a Macallan, loaded with sherry and a caramel-like sweetness. Some bright orange peel notes. Palate: More sherry on the palate. Again, a very classic Macallan profile. It has a pleasant aged character. More orange zest and a hint of dark chocolate. Finish: Not as long as one might expect. More dark chocolate combined with some salted nuts and the sherry. As it sits, its complexity increases.
