From the Morrison family's Mac-Talla range, this is a peated single malt whisky produced on Islay. It is matured in American oak casks and bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or added color.

Smells smoky, but not like a campfire; it's more delicate with floral hints. The palate delivers sharp chili and pepper with a hint of seaweed. The finish features pepper, licorice, and Gorgonzola.
The nose presents BBQ, some citrus, peat, ash, and sea salt. It's a regular sipper for one of my companions.
Fresh and smoky, I really like this balance
Reminiscent of a light-bodied Lagavulin with a touch of Laphroaig.
