Almost finished. I rate this bourbon highly and think it justifies its $60 cost, providing some distinctive characteristics. The aroma is fairly typical... pleasant vanilla and expected bourbon scents. Some oak is present but not overwhelming. What makes this one stand out is the palate. I struggle to identify specific flavors beyond the usual bourbon notes, but there's a touch of spice and a hint of oak... echoing the nose. The finish is moderate... leaning towards dry, lacking the typical cherry note. This is a top-tier bourbon you might have missed. Fairly priced.... consider sampling it.

This is an excellent bourbon. It presents classic bourbon characteristics and brings to mind Wild Turkey products. The nose has some oak, and the finish is nicely warming. There's just a very slight bitterness on the finish, followed by some cherry notes. Highly enjoyable.
It seems to rely on its rye character, as it exhibits many typical rye notes. Excellent full bourbon flavor and good intensity.
