This expression rested for eight years in former bourbon barrels before an additional two years in ex-Tokaji wine casks. Tokaji is a sweet Hungarian dessert wine, comparable to Sauternes, derived from grapes affected by noble rot.

A confusing aroma! Sweet, but very strange. Definitely tastes like wine. A thick, spiced texture on the tongue. The finish is spicy yet has a dark, odd quality and is mild. What an unusual spirit!
