This blend, made solely from their own product, intends to mirror Johnnie Walker Black's general flavor profile. It succeeds in this, though the initial aroma is somewhat unpleasant. There's a strange scent on the nose, reminiscent of new shoes, earth, and thankfully, some vanilla. The taste, however, is quite good, featuring toffee, vanilla, dried fruit, nuts, and a touch of smoke. It's rich, smooth, and lingers. The price is also reasonable.

Appreciate the smoky and faint peat aromas on the nose, which also persist on the palate. The smoky and peaty notes are very light compared to others, just enough to hint at their presence. I believe this is an excellent option for a reasonably priced introduction to this category, offering enjoyment without being overpowering.
