Served in a Glencairn glass after resting for 15 minutes. Appearance: Medium amber. Nose: Sweet caramel and butterscotch. Taste: Clove, baking spices, and some oaky notes. Finish: A surprisingly long duration for 90 proof. With a splash: No new flavors emerge. General impression: 8.5/10 - It begins with a really intriguing aroma that doesn't quite carry through, yet the finish still lingers on my palate. An extra point is awarded for the finish alone.
