The aroma consists of rye spice, smoke, brine, sardine, and dark bread. The taste is very spicy with bitter smoke, seaweed, and brine. The finish is a combination of brine and rye spice, with significant alcohol heat.
Evokes a cowboy image, with notes of leather and whiskey, a subtle hint of vanilla and spice. Inspires me to prepare for a long journey.
A good amount of rye spice, present but not overwhelming peat. It's a pleasing pour. Rating: 4.40
