Nose: Smells of tropical fruits, ginger, and apples, with some floral undertones. Little peat, likely due to its age. Palate: The Oloroso-like spices are a nice surprise, along with lots of baked apples and smoked nuts. Peaches appear later, with a wonderful texture and a light yet flavorful peat. Finish: Excellent, exactly what one expects from a well-crafted and aged spirit.
