About this bottle
Laws Whiskey House of Colorado emphasizes its unique environment throughout its production, from high-altitude aging to the use of mountain spring water and a focus on Colorado grains and heirloom varieties. The Four Grain Straight Bourbon from the distillery forms the basis for the Cognac Foeder finish, with a mashbill of 60% corn, 20% wheat, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley. Following an initial maturation in new charred oak casks, the whiskey undergoes a finishing period in various sizes of French oak casks before being combined in a large Cognac foeder.
