Cyril Pichardo 3.8

Nose: Subtle sweet brioche, baked apples, hints of cedar, toasted almonds, and vanilla. Taste: Sweet and spicy cinnamon/oak heat/tartness, gentle sweet apples, a slight bitterness from apple stem/seed/peel, and toasted soft brioche bread. Finish: A lingering light cinnamon tingle/warmth, with a bitter/fruity apple stem/seed/peel note that persists. Score: 80/100 Overall Impression: This was a very pleasant dram. The nose shows promise, but unfortunately, the palate doesn't quite live up to it. It's still quite pleasant initially, with the Calvados influence noticeable but not overwhelming the base spirit. Sadly, a fruity bitterness detracts from the overall experience, as all the flavors are quite subtle. It's nice overall, but the bitterness throughout becomes somewhat distracting. Would I drink it if offered? - Yes Would I specifically order it? - Perhaps Would I buy a bottle? - Probably not another one.

Maryellen Burks 3.8

Nose: Faint citrus, green and red apples, toffee with hints of vanilla, and melted butter. Elegant and floral. Palate: Very smooth texture with apple-like sweet fruitiness. More toffee – essentially sugar-coated apples. Finish: Toffee-like sweetness and apple (less the tartness). Touches of breadsticks, eventually hints of milk chocolate. Overall: A very well-integrated finish that works effectively without being overpowering. Elegant and interesting, not overly complex, but still a really good whisky: 3.75 points.

David Hagen 3.0

The aroma is quite fruity with pronounced grape notes. The palate has a slight bitterness but keeps the fruity undertones. The finish is light and smooth with a touch of char.

Collin Box 4.5

Light and invigorating. Notes of apple/pear and citrus. Evokes the feeling of refreshing spring weather. A truly enjoyable drink.

Alvina Mccall 4.0

This is the finest Swedish Single Malt I have encountered! It has an earthy, smoky profile with hints of fruit.

Kaiden Lake 3.0

Gentle sweetness, cinnamon, vanilla, a hint of wood varnish on the nose; the taste is sharp and fiery, almost numbing, and acidic.
