About this bottle
Selected by the Lagavulin distillery team for the annual Fèis Ìle festival, this single malt will be available at the distillery on May 25, 2019, during Lagavulin's Open Day. The whisky underwent a 19-year maturation, initially in refill oak, followed by sherry-treated freshly-charred American oak hogsheads. The final maturation phase was in old European oak puncheons. Production was limited to 6,000 bottles.
