This Kyrö whiskey is remarkably easy to drink. It has notes of berries and a profound, lasting sweetness, likely from the oloroso influence. The finish is pleasing with a subtle warmth and a fresh touch, reminiscent of mint.
This has a significant bite. Spice and pepper are prominent. A strong outdoor smokiness. Sherry sweetness is present. A very earthy flavor. Notes of eucalyptus as well.
The smoothness was unexpected. A nice peppery spice from the rye. Rich flavors of sweetness from the oloroso. A very enjoyable sipping whiskey.
