Kraken has expanded its offerings with this gold spiced Caribbean rum. It is available in 750ml, liter, and 1.75L formats, all featuring the brand's signature sea monster label, and is bottled at 70 proof. Availability began in March 2023. ($21.99 SRP for 750ml)

A rich aroma of vanilla, caramel/butterscotch, and cinnamon with a gentle oak presence. The taste is sweet and smooth, with vanilla and caramel/butterscotch flavors highlighted by cinnamon. It has a light, thin texture and a finish that is lightly golden, sweet, and reminiscent of vanilla and caramel/butterscotch.
Trying this for the first time, and I actually prefer it to their dark rum. While I use the dark rum for Dark 'n' Stormies and other cocktails, this rum is fantastic neat or mixed with Coke.
A less potent version of Kraken with butterscotch notes. I would prefer regular Kraken. That says it all.
Tastes of brown sugar, vanilla, caramel, and spice; very smooth. The best rum from the Kraken line.
