Kooper Family 100% Rye is a blend of two rye whiskeys: a sourced 4-year-old straight rye from the southern United States and a 15-month-old "high-rye" whiskey from the north, aged in first and second-fill charred oak. Limestone-filtered Texas spring water is used to adjust the proof. The total aging time in Texas is not specified. This whiskey is bottled without chill filtration at 40% ABV. Please note: This product was discontinued as of 2016.

Exhibits a rich reddish-copper color. The aroma is characterized by a very sweet vanilla and chocolate, which develops further on the palate, accompanied by notes of brandied cherries.
It tastes young and has floral notes. The flavor is grassy and earthy.
